I was raised in South Florida in a loving family, with the ocean and wetlands virtually out my back door. I graduated from Williams College in Williamstown, MA with a major in Psychology, a minor in Neuroscience, and Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa honors. I attended Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA and graduated with Alpha Omega Alpha honors.
In 2000, I moved to Portland, OR to join the Emergency Medicine Residency program at OHSU. I served as a Chief Resident in my final year and went on to work as a full-time Emergency Department physician at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center for 18 years. I have over two decades of experience treating medical and psychiatric emergencies and administering ketamine for procedural sedation.
Working in traditional medical environments for the bulk of my career, I treated innumerable patients whose needs were not met by our current mental health system. When a mental health crisis affected my own family and traditional treatments failed, I began to explore other options. I learned the power, efficacy, and rapid improvement achieved through psychedelic medicine and have dedicated myself to its practice.

I grew up in Northwest Florida, sailing and beachcombing around the Florida Gulf coast. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Duke University, graduating Magna Cum Laude with Phi Beta Kappa honors, I attended Emory University School of Medicine and graduated with Alpha Omega Alpha Honors. I completed my residency in Emergency Medicine at Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU).
After residency, I served as an ER doctor in the U.S. Air Force for four years. I treated soldiers and veterans in the U.S. as well as in active war zones of the Middle East, witnessing the enormous toll of post-traumatic stress disorder up close.
I moved back to Portland in 2004, where I have been practicing emergency medicine ever since. While satisfying work, it has also been frustrating to see many patients whose mental health needs fall through the cracks of our medical system.
I am eager and honored to apply my medical background in the emerging field of psychedelic medicine, safely assisting those seeking support for their mental health challenges and goals.

I grew up in Utah, camping and exploring the immense beauty of the Mountain West. I attribute both my connection to the natural world and my love of medicine to these early outdoor experiences. I have since traveled around the world exploring new places, foods and cultures.
My love of travel led me to pursue an undergraduate degree in Geography at the University of Colorado, Boulder where I graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa. I earned my Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree from the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM) in 2004. After completing a two year residency at NUNM, I served as a clinical and academic faculty member for 15 years, including three years as the course director for IV Therapy and Environmental Medicine.
Twenty years of patient care have revealed to me the intimate connection between mental, emotional, spiritual and physical health. While facilitating psychedelic journeys, I witness the profound potential of these medicines to support integration among all aspects of being and health—enhancing access to inner guidance and allowing deeply held beliefs to be re-examined. I am dedicated to helping expand access in the field of psychedelic medicine with safety, integrity and compassion and consider it an immense honor to work as a provider in this space.

I grew up in Massachusetts in a family of six. I studied kinesiology and psychology at Indiana University and went on to receive a Master’s degree in physical therapy at Emory University. After practicing geriatric physical therapy for a number of years, my sister and I ran a small graphic design business. When our daughter was born, I left the workforce to be a stay-at-home mom.
I first experienced the healing power of psychedelics when suffering with postpartum depression. I am now grateful for the opportunity to help others through this work. I have been life partners with Dr. Mehr (I like to call him Seth) since 1999.

My favorite activity is taking road trips to explore the great Northwest with my husband of 25 years and our teenage daughter. When I'm not on the road, you'll find me in my garden with my husband, tending to our flowers, vegetables, mason bees and hummingbirds.
After unexpectedly losing my mother to cancer, psychedelics helped me gain insights and led to a great respect for this process. My desire is to help others experience their own unique healing from this medicine. At CPM, my priority is to oversee the comfort and after-session care of every client.

I majored in English and Music at the University of Notre Dame, studied abroad in London, and worked in Tokyo and Seattle before returning to Portland to raise three children with my husband. The Pacific Northwest, with its rain and changing light, is my true home.
The sudden and traumatic loss of my 18-year old son, Owen, in 2019 plunged me into an unfamiliar landscape of grief and sadness. I am now learning first hand about the power and efficacy of psychedelic medicine. I am grateful for the opportunity to support the important healing work at CPM, especially for others who have suffered loss or trauma.
