Psychedelic Integration
Integration is the process of turning psychedelic states into enduring traits.
Integration is an essential part of the psychedelic medicine experience.
It is the process of digesting, or making sense of, insights and perspectives from your medicine experience in support of the healing and change you seek.
Ultimately, integration is a link between the journey itself and utilizing its gifts to live a more authentic, fulfilling, and harmonious life.

COMMON INTEGRATION TOOLS
Integration takes many forms.
There is no right or wrong way to do it, and different approaches resonate with different people at different times.
The most important thing is to commit to integration by engaging in whatever feels most meaningful and supportive to you.

INTEGRATION AT CPM
CPM does not have integration specialists on staff. We do maintain a list of qualified integration coaches you may contact and engage with on your own.
People who already have an established relationship with a therapist, healer, or spiritual guide may find working with them on integration most beneficial since trust and rapport are already established.
For ketamine sessions at CPM, a certain amount of integration is built into the framework of our approach.
For group psilocybin ceremonies through CPM, integration sessions are built into the format of the offering (each ceremony includes two 90-minute group preparation sessions and two 90-minute group integration sessions).

“A psychedelic experience may take you to a place possible for the future you—one full of understanding, beautiful engagement with the world, and love—but having that experience once does not mean it will stay with you. For these ‘states’ to turn into ‘positive character traits,’ you need to do some work to transform the experience of a ‘state’ into a lasting part of who you are.
This is integration.”
